Maui's Fish hook

One day Maui was fishing on his boat with his magical hook. He threw his magical hook into the sea and waited. He waited and waited until his rope was pulling pulling fast. He got up and grabbed his rope he pulled and pulled whatever it was it was heavy. Then he pulled with all his might . Suddenly a gigantic stingray came up and now we call that stingray is a North island.

Cross Country

Erana’s Cross Country Cross country is where you run a course with other students at your year level. This term the whole school will be doing a Cross Country Course in week six. 

 If you come in the top 8 you will go to inter-school Cross Country which is a whole other course and students from different schools in the same area as you all meet to run together. I think I might be able to go to inter-school because I love to run a lot. I feel sort of nervous though. 

 First I want to try and complete my goals before the Cross Country course starts. One thing is to try to run the whole course without stopping. I should practice more at home than I do at school.

 So far this week we have been practicing the course but we haven’t been doing as much as we should be. Next week we might be practicing the course more then we have been.

We did a art and we had to write our pepeha and gateway with the piece of art we did it was fun and hard because we had a lot to do in such little time. i enjoyed it a lot.
